Privacy Policy

1. Controller

Daniel Alpiste Sarmiento, owner of danielalpiste.com (the "Site") and of the personal tools described below. Lima, Peru.

2. What the Site collects

The Site is an informational personal page. It does not use tracking cookies or analytics services, and it does not require sign-up.

Your browser stores locally, and only on your device, two preferences: language and theme (light or dark). They are never sent to any server.

The contact form does not submit information to any service. If you email me, your address and message are used solely to reply to you.

3. Use of Google user data

Besides the Site, I maintain private personal-automation tools ("Life OS") that connect to Google services through OAuth. These tools are single-user: they only access my own Google account, never the accounts of Site visitors.

The requested permissions and their purpose are:

• Gmail (read-only): read bank notifications received in my own mailbox to record my personal expenses.
• Google Drive (files created by the app): store photos of receipts that the tool itself uploads to a folder in my Drive.

4. How that data is handled

Data obtained from Google is processed on my own machine and stored in a personal database under my control. It is not sold, not shared with third parties, not used for advertising, and not used to train general-purpose artificial-intelligence models.

The use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Access can be revoked at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions; once revoked, the tool stops reading new data.

5. Retention and security

Data is kept only as long as it serves the purpose above and is deleted afterwards. Access credentials are stored encrypted on the owner's file system and never on the public Site.

6. Your rights and contact

If you believe the Site holds any data about you, you can request access, correction or deletion by writing to danielalpiste@gmail.com. I will answer within a reasonable time.

7. Changes

This policy may be updated. The date of the latest version appears at the top of the page.
